Overview
The majority of SIATech students are young adults, 16 to 24 years of age who have dropped out of traditional high schools and then re-committed to their education by joining Job Corps. Prior to the SIATech-Job Corps partnership, Job Corps students were limited to obtaining a GED as the academic part of their training program. With the partnership, students are now able to enroll in an on-center, classroom-based high school diploma program. Most SIATech students live full-time in dormitories at the Job Corps centers while the rest commute to our classes on a daily basis. Click here to view examples of student projects.
