Dropout Recovery that Works: SIATech Recognized as one of the Top Schools in the Nation

Will you be in Orlando the week of June 14? If so, stop by the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort and Convention Center to see the highly anticipated presentation by SIATech Gainesville Principal Joy Baldree and Director of Education Services (Area 2) Marjorie Lopez. These two SIATech leaders will present a session that highlights reasons for SIATech's success as a school. The distinguished "model schools" featured at this conference were selected by the International Center for Leadership in Education. Their team visited the SIATech Gainesville site and were impressed enough to bestow the "model school" honor. SIATech schools were commended as a model of data-driven decision-making, shared leadership, successful relationships and partnerships, instructional technology, and highly relevant instruction. A lengthy report from the International Center for Leadership in Education is scheduled to be released June 18. Congratulations to the hard-working staff and students at SIATech!
